The Messermeister oyster knife designed by 3 times Dutch champion oyster shucker Marcel Schouwenaar is completely made of hypoallergenic stainless steel which makes it ideal for professional use. Its ergonomic design fit’s both right- and lefthanded users. The "wing" ensures a good grip with less chance to slip through as less force is required while shucking the oysters. One can open oysters with ease and with one fluent movement “click” open the oyster as well as cuttng the muscle. This will result in very little to no grit while opening the oyster.
The oyster knife has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Arts in New York thanks to the different design.
