A very sustainably produced Santoku chef's knife from the knife city of Europe, Solingen. This stainless steel knife is great for both cutting and chopping. The long handle provides a firm grip. This knife has a sustainably produced FSC certified red beech handle which has the characteristic of having a good or even better grip when wet. When beech becomes wet, the fibers stand up and create a rougher surface when dry, unlike plastic variants. The metal is 100% recyclable and the handle is biodegradable.
